Are the tail lights for an '05 500 and the '09 Taurus interchangeable? My girlfriend wants some clear tail lights for our 500, but after looking I've found that they are not made. I've noticed that the '09 Taurus have them, so I'm wondering if a possibility would be to buy the Taurus lights if they'll work? Anybody have any help for me? Thanks in advance.

I can't see why they won't fit as the exterior design wasn't changed, only the name was. Ford claims they made 3000 changes to the car, however. Check Ebay and ask the sellers there, they're fairly well informed about that type of stuff. You may even see some clear tails for the 500....never know!

yeah i dont see why not, basically the same shape. check ebay for the 500 as well with the taurus you never know you might find some.
