joeblow Registered User Join Date: Nov 2005 Posts: 2	abundant rear brake dust 05 500 with 3900 miles The rear brakes are making more brake dust than the front. Anyone else having this issue? Dealer says that it is just the pads they use. Yes, the cheapest ones Ford could get.

Toaderly Registered User Join Date: Oct 2005 Posts: 11	Re: abundant rear brake dust I've been told that Ford purposely put soft brake pads on the Five Hundred to give it better stopping ability and hence its high safety rating. I've got a nice layer of brake dust on my wheels two days after washing them. I'll more than likely install harder brake pads when the time comes.
