The display never seems to change. In the city it will display 20.4 mpg, get on the highway for a long stretch and it will eventually will change to 20.6. I know this car can't get this mpg in city and highway. Anyone else have this problem?

This simply displays the average MPG since the last time you reset it. If you've never reset that display, then it's likely displaying the average MPG since you owned the car. Since that's probably a long time ago it will not change very quickly. Simply hold the reset button for a second or two and that will reset the display and it will start displaying the average from that point.

If you reset it just as you get onto the highway then you'll be able to see your average highway economy. If you reset it when you start driving on city streets then you'll see your average city economy. If you reset it before you start a trip you'll see the average economy for that trip. Or if you just leave it alone you'll see the average economy for the car for all the driving you do.
