Funny that, I read something a few weeks ago where industry experts predicted a gradual return to near-boom levels of employment within the next year or two.

The IT industry haaah i was once in it. Nothing last forever except some very nieve ecomomists. You can only sell so much IT gear and with depreciation, too low prices with near zilch profit and with constant obsolecence the whole industry is doomed to fail. I think I'll get a decent job like a grave digger, thats one job that never goes out of fashion and with the baby boomers dropping like flies soon its bound to be a boom industry! That and nursing homes!

My uncle got laid of about 2 weeks ago from IBM, he worked there for 12 years and he's 'no longer needed' for no good reason
