Picked up my 500 last Saturday... its an SE with the CVT...only thing wrong with it is that the storage bay door on the dash, has an air bubble under the skin...need to take it to the service dept and have them take pics so Ford will auth..the warranty on it...
never driven a CVT before test driving this car...it feels pretty smooth...
Sounds good, post some pics of it so we can all check it out.

My first car was a 67 Mustang Coupe, 2nd one was a 67 Cougar XR-7, 3rd one was a 66 Mustang Coupe. Why did I get rid of these cars for ? I know why, because I'm stupid, stupid, stupid.

Great to hear it. Good Luck with it!!! We just got the Caliber at my Dodge Dealer the other day which has a CVT. I must say for the first CVT car I've driven, they are pretty smooth. O.K., enough about Dodges, repeat 10 times to self-THIS IS A FORD SITE, THIS IS A FORD SITE, THIS IS A FORD SITE......

Hey, did you end up getting a new storage bay compartment piece? Mine has a few bubbles too. If so, where did you get it? Tenks

The original poster hasn't back since 2006, dealer or salvage are best bets.
