i was just wondering which car would win down the quarter if both are 5 speed and factory standard, stats are as follows:

Falcon ED XR6 161kw - 215hp, 365nm, 1500kg - 3307lb, final drive 3.27, power to weight ratio 9.32 : 1 (kg/kW)

Skyline Sylhouette GTS 140kw - 187hp, 270nm, 1390kg - 3064lb, final drive 3.89, power to weight ratio 9.93 : 1 (kg/kW)

looks like the falcon has a slightly better power to weight ratio, so im thinking it would be a tad faster

I reckon the final drive of the Skyline would make it quicker over the quarter even with power to weight.. Just my 2c

I always see them GTS's in red so they definatly would be faster, probably would depend on the driver but, i pretty shure the top end of the XR6 would kill the GTS if you go longer than 400m, if thats any conselation to you, my 2c too

Hard to find info but I saw figures of 0-100 in 8.8s, 0-400m 16.0s for the GTS2 (the red one with 140kW).

I beleive the GTS would probably be faster over the quarter just like XAlent said. Because the GTS is lighter and the diff ratio is bigger after the qauter the XR6 would cain it
