Thanks Grumpy, a few things-like the burnout- were missed probably due to nerves both inside and outside of the car. Friday night was just to give him a run in the car and give me a look at what needs to be done to get it up and racing. Engine is a Blockzilla with usual mods ie camshaft, oversize bore etc etc running on Methanol. He exceeded what we had thought he might do on his first ever drive of a car, went 2 tenths quicker than the car had ever run with maybe another 2 or 3 tenths still left in it, mainly coz he`s about 5 stone wringin wet.
