Hi Guys went out to Heathcote today in a VX II R8, driver is a member here CLUBBEDR8. goes well has et:12.20.. funny thing he gets 21 to 100 around town.. but on the run to Heathcote it got down to 12.8 to 100, must be that 4000 hi stall...
Was a top day weather was sunny, crowd was big, cars were great but the only down side was the lack of girls to perve on.
the quickest pass we seen was Romeo's Son in there Nitro Rail Drag car.
He is learning to drive it went ET 5.50..
Seen a proton jumbuk ute run a 14 sec pass 1.5 litre with a snail on it looked funny front wheel burnout..
XY GT ran a 9.86 and the bonnet came off, lucky it was fibreglass..
plenty of mostly older type of cars with big engines big wheel stands on take off many single figure ET's...7,8,9's...
we left a little early they had trouble with the lights on the Christmas tree, Russell was trying to fix the fault..
here are some pics i will leave them up for around a month then i will remove them.. as i will need the space back to post other stuff later..

1st pic is a blown Capri 550 cubic inch, came over from S.A won a prize for best presented car, i just likes the look of the engine and blower..

3rd pic is from this cars 1st outing.. its an Altered owner has spend $80,000 to date and still needs paint and a few other things...ran a few 8's owner wnats to run 7's with 1.1 60 footers it wont be long.
i have never seen a Altered run as striaght as this one..powered by a 400 CI small block chev.

Hey Mark, the capri is not blown... it is fuel injected with an injector hat sitting atop the high rise manifold, definitely no blower on it.
