Hey, i just got a 92 taurus and I was wondering how i could optimize performance for the car, just little things here and there that would make it run better.

also, i think i read someone mentioning that they shot their fuel with nos? can you do that? haha

also, i heard that by simply enlarging the exhaust a bit you can get a lot more power out of the engine? has anyone ever tried this? how expensive is it? Would't you have to upgrade other parts to allow them to handle the extra power?

enlarging exhaust will get you a small amount of power. An easy and cheap way to do this on the 2G Taurus is to remove the muffler at the back and replace the middle muffler with a "cherry bomb" glass-pack muffler. However that will only net you 2 or 3 hp. It's more important to make sure that the car is running properly first before trying to modify it.
