no, no, and no! a 4.6 4-valve with twin turbos could kick the crap out of anything on the road with 10 psi! oh, and the jap-spec supras are rated at 276 hp, because the japanese government says so! 320 hp in the states, sure, no problem, but this guy was probably pushing the turbo to its limits, no doubt 20 some psi, and more likely than not, pulling your chain about the mods. yes, it had the boost controller, but other things as well.

there is no way a almost stock 97 supra can pull off 10's at the track. and by the way, my 2004 mustang cobra is rated at almost 600 horsepower to the rear wheels. enough to put any ricer where they belong, in my rear view mirror.

impossible! stock 1995 Toyota Supra Turbo runs 13.5 in 1/4 mile, but even the race drivers that run these times can punch a gear like Anthony Mundine. This time was taken from 0-60 and 1/4 mile times for Factory Stock Vehicles .Now in a speed magazine there is a toyota supra with 574rwhp at 2.3bar that runs a 10.9 in the 1/4mile with nitto drag tyres, bigger turbos, forged pistons and alot of other shit worth over 50gz for the engine alone.

well, when I was 17 I had a 76 Vega that I thought was a racecar. It had a header on the 2300 and probably would have been hard pressed to pull off an 18sec qtr.

Still, those ricers can be screamers. I'd think mid 12's with the stock suspension would be pretty realistic.

Only one problem, it wasn't built in Detroit so it could run up and down me and all around me and I wouldn't notice it.

haha all import drivers are full of them self's....you want a jap car got to japan and enjoy it over there.old school v8 with cams and exhaust in 2nd gear driving at 60k's nothing comes close to the sound or looks you be getting....then when you want to go fast go home and get the xr6t thats "fully sic" i think someone has been watching fast and Furious haha (hints towards the final race i nthe first movie) that ol'school led sled dose a farking wheel stand and the guy in the supra is for ever changing gears common buddy whats its got the mack truck 18speed in her haha your supra dose 10? common buddy we are all friends here be honest you smashed the box off the line then your dad got pissed and never let you drive his 13 sec street car again.

I love the turbo/ supercharger, Nos stuff lol. I don't want to offend anyone lol but, like the one post said. Put a turbo (just one) on a V-8 and you are going to have your hands full trying to beat it. It doesn't matter if it came that way from the factory, fact is it does have a turbo or is supercharged and what your comparing it to isn't!

All this talk of top end 4 or 6 banger power makes me wonder, why does Lamborghini and Ferrari keep wasting their time with those dreadful V-12's and V-8's ? Yes they cost more so don't go there. FACT is bigger engines will always make more power.

The ricers are quick, equip any V-8 or even a V-6 Mustang the same way and your going to lose. How about pulling that ricer up next to a 2.3 four cylinder Mustang near me that is cranking out over 600 hp with NO induction or Nos. Hmmm, I wonder who will get to the finish line first?

The ricers will never take anything from an equally equipped domestic V-6 or V-8. Store bought mini van terrors is all they are. Your on a site where people BUILD their cars and you don't stand a chance against these built cars, so don't try.
