ranchero72 Registered User Join Date: Apr 2009 Posts: 1	1972 Q Code I know you probably get a ton of requests for decoding VIN's so I will make it a ton plus. I have many years of Lincoln experience but none with small block motors, I have a chance to buy a 1972 Ranchero 500 with a Q code 351 Cleveland that I believe is the lower compression 4-bolt main motor. I would like to know what trans a 5 would be and what rear end a 9 would be as it shows on the VIN. I appreciate the help and if I can help with 460cid or Lincoln questions, just holler.
