Re: 1979 ford granada

In my area it would be about a $650 car. Don't let the current value fool you though. If it runs good, fix it up and drive it. They were good solid cars and a lot tougher than anything you will find today. I had one with the 302 and a 4 speed and it carried me many of hard miles with a lead foot. Only problem I had was the steering linkage that connects to the rack and pinion came apart and left me stranded once.

Re: 1979 ford granada

Apparently there was a Mustang Cobra package available for the Granada, that, with a 351 and AC, the car is just south of 5k according to NADA. But, as I was pointing out to powerkmac in another post, you have to find the person that may want it that bad. If it does have the Cobra package, might be a good restoration project.

Re: 1979 ford granada

Never heard of it. As far as I know there was only the 250ci and 302 in the 79 Granada. Shared some components such as steering with the Mustang and a lot of parts from the stang could be retrofitted.

Re: 1979 ford granada

Well, looked it up and it did come with the 351w option. I've been around a lot of old cars in my day and I have never seen one in person.
