No this thread isn't what your thinking. It's some overly modified XY it's a 68 american falcon. The similarities are amazing. This would definitely be the car to make a 2 dr XY mockup. I wonder how good it'll look in GT trim with shaker.

you'd actually want a 67 model. i think 68's had different rear guard treatment that had little "fins". also, because of the rear window treatment on these coupes (similar to the XR and XT sedans) it'll look out of place with an XY front. oh and also the tail lights are round..

Ford Aus done it in the sixties. Nice looking car too. From memory it had an XY front with XW stripes, or an XT front with XW stripes...... Actually, I can't remember at all....!!! Someone will post a pic hopefully, and we can all see it....

So your saying it's a 2dr version of an XR or XT? That'll be awesome. Got another photo here, if you look at the back doors the way they slant up like on ours. So alike.

u can pick up the 2 door car in the us for @ 4k. i almost had a light blue one last year that was smiko for 4500.

Dude,

You can pick up a 1966-1970 US Falcon for US$400. The damn things were nothing more than grandma cars over here. There was NO performance option US Falcon built from 1966-1970.

The 1966-67 use the same basic shell as the XR-XT Falcon. The 1968-1970 had rear quarter panels that were more square and look very similar to the 1965-66 Mustang. The 1968-70's also had square taillights while the 1967's had "gills" stamped into the front guards.
