2V head

hi guys,

is the only difference between a 250 and a 250 2V the head or are there other differences?

Manifolds, carb, air cleaner, linkage and fuel pump.

I think that the dizzy was curved differently, and the cam may have been different too as well as the things mentioned by jg66me....cheers

According to the master parts list the cam is the same. The distributor appears to be the same as the 200cid low compression. Go figure :-/. Part No XY12100D

Pretty sure the throttle linkage is the same too

It's the Ford way - no sense designing new parts when the ones you have already work OK

Hence the similarity between 1967 and 1987 Falcon floorpans...

Linkage is not the same. It is unique to that application. It is closer to the 302 linkage, just the carb pull lever is on the drivers side. If you fit this head and carb and dont have the linkage, use the 302 linkage, cut of the carb pull lever and weld it back on in line with the carb.
