im getting an exaust put on my series1 au fairmont v8. ive been qouted $1400 for 4 into 1 pacemaker extracters and mandrel bent 3"pipe. and $1300 for same extracters with twin 21/4 pipes not mandrel bent. i was wondering wich ones you think are better. or does anyone recomend something else.
is this a good price.

The 4 into 1 with 3 inch mandrel sytem sounds like the go.

You'll do better than that... my paceys, 2 1/4" mandrel and Lukeys cost $1158. That included all fiting, brackets, gaskets etc. Mind you that was 6 months ago. Still, I wouldn't think it'd be much more today. That price didn't include high flow cats (they were an additional $512).

Try Right Price Exhaust (great quality, crap service) or Lee's Exhaust - both on Moss Street, Slacks Creek.

I looked at both single and dual systems - chose dual and never regretted it. If I did it again I'd go dual again. It's a personal choice but I would recommend spending some time in or around each if you can before deciding.

I'd go for the 4-1 into the single M/Bend 3in.
