hmm excuse me gamma boy as soon as i c him i will be giving him the 50 he knows that from the last time we spoke i have been away up nth qld for work thank you (i just arrived home at 7pm tonight) and also as for bumping this post look at the last date i did it 31-07-2005, 00:29 everyone else here is doing it from my end i own a very rare vehicle sorry if some people are offended with the love i have for my fords jj66me isn't this site also for updating work done to our cars ect what gives u the right to run down other peoples cars do i say stuff about your's no i don't and if you look through all my posts i don't bag others cars

So, I finally read this thread for the first time. I must admit, I didn't know they had 2Vs factory. Pity about the bumps though.....

I recently bought one off eBay - it's sat in the shed for a while but I've made a start to get it back roadworthy - so if anyone is interested I'll pop up some pics

Hi Charlie - it was in Hobart - I was able to get a transit permit and drove it to Devenport and crosssed to Melbourne on the ferry! Its got a fair bit of surface rust but I have stripped the front guards etc and the vast majority of the A pillar and box section is remarkably good for its era - bit of glass and aplate - she'll be OK. Got a stanbdard 250 loghead & 3 on the tree - is that standard?

Hey would of been good for a first run.I think there was a couple of different options. Mine has the hotwire mags,2v head and borge warner 4 on the floor,tripple webbers.Good to see not much much rust too
