Best transmission for a 1965 200 ci

I have a 61 falcon I am rehabing.

The car came to me with a '65 200ci falcon moter under the hood and a three speed manual in the trunk. I would like to make it an automatic.

I have found a complete '65 comet with a 200ci in a yard near my house.

Would I be able to bolt in that tranny, torque converter , flexplate etc into my falcon?

Do you think I would be able to make the column linkage work also?
