Black with gold stripes XA GT?

I was just trying to find an older thread on here where a guy mentioned he owned black XA sedan with gold pinstriping and decals. My memory was jogged while coming across these Phase IV articles on Ebay;

SUPER FORD Phase IV

or just do a search for item 4545711702

And now I seem to remember hearing a Phase IV prototype was in this paint scheme. Does the owner on the previous thread still own this car? Or know what happened to it?

I was the poster of the thread. I never owned the car, just liked the pic of it, and was curious as to if it still existed, or if anyone knew anything more about it.

Oh okay, maybe I'm getting my lines crossed with another forum (it's been a looong eventful weekend!). I'm sure someone mentioned they lifted off some paint and found this gold pinstriping underneath.

is this the stripe that starts at the top of the front guard and follows the waist line up to finish at the "C" pillar?

Hi roadrunner
I started that thread hopeing to track down any remaining onyx black xa gt sedans that may be still alive.My car did have an orange fluro stripe between the black and silver on the sides.Another chap posted some pic's of a sed fitting your discription from a mag he found years ago.Could be from that same mag.
regards Clayton.

like this:
No JG, that's just an old GS stripe, I believe this gold one kind of followed the panels more all the way around, reminiscent of old Escort Twin cam and RS2000 pinstripes.
