Finally biting the bullet and getting my dream car. I'm getting it after my 21st. (its my grandads). It's an XB coupe brand new 302 with 500kms on it. Brand new 2brl carb. Car has done 80,000 miles. Only problem is its the goldy brown colour. Interior is in show room condition. and has always been covered. 1 owner car. $2000 bucks ... probabilly get away with 1500.

well its a 1974 Fairmont.
Original wheels and hubcaps.
3 speed auto
tan interior
new shocks
original pushbutton radio

anyhow i have big future plans for this car. The interior will remain standard. new paint suspension, dual exhaust ... blah blah blah.

Ive wanted one since i was 12.

A good mate I used to cruise around with when I had my weekender XWGT had a XB Coupe, wild violet with white interior, I'm sure we've all seen one like it and drooled. What set it off most though was the fat rubber on the rears, 285's if I recall. Nothing sets those Coupe's off more than fat rubber! Still loved my XW but seeing my stock cheesecutters next to his coupe with its guard struggling to hold the rubber in just made me envious.
