Guys - just wondering if anyone has any exp with this type of stuff, particularly how they can get rid of a car if it doesnt have any rear wheels, ie the diff is taken out....is this possible, anyone know of what they will charge etc.....

mate try contacting a local scrap metal company

some of those companys will lift the car with a hi ab (spelling) straight onto the back of a truck,if you are giving the car away they will more than likely remove it for free

yeh just look through ur local paper clasifieds under cars and there r alot of ppl who will remove it for free or sumtimes pay you

XW,try Steve at B & H Scrap 0411 556 746.I have used him and he is very easy to deal with.Some blokes will want to charge you if the car is incomplete but Steve will just take whatever you have.

Mate i had my XC taken away today by Moon towing free of charge. No roof no rear end and all of the crap i could put in it. They are in Bayswater 9725-7772. Give them a ring they were more than helpful and right on time as they said they would be.

car is an xb gs sedan. body is pretty rough, car is totally stripped. But does have the #s matching 351, c6 auto and a 9inch. I will try and sell complete, but assessing my options if i was to totally pull out the driveline and just get rid of the car. Its a shame, but too big a project for me bodywise.
