Anyone see Lowndes steering a Phase III GTHO and GT40 on RPM today.

They both looked the biz. His face was classic when they told him how much the GT40 was worth after he had it on the track.

Was a very good piece I thought.. You could see the sheer joy in his face from piloting them both around the track. GT40 look magic coming out of the corners with a bit of oversteer!

Yeah, it did have a touch of oversteer huh!!! It looked awesome.
The Phase III was no slouch either for a road registered car!

Yeh thats right... only 10 seconds slower than the Current V8 supercars around the track. I thought that was pretty amazing! but they didnt tell us the time for the gt40! :(

I liked his statement about the GT40 "snaps into oversteer a bit' - looked twitchy as f*ck to me.

Hey buddy, the GT40 is a legend that has earned its stripes. We have racing heritage at Ford that makes GM look like they are still in nappies, so do me a favour.... if you can't say anything nice then say nothing at all.
