Clevo temp problems

Ok... While my car was off the road i fitted a new thermostat and housing, A flex fan (6 blade .... peice o crap???), and now since the hot weather has arrived my clevo is running hotter than usual. I even now have a GT bonnet (dont know how much differance that would make). Any suggestions on making my clevo running nice and cool during those hot days?

fan shroud will help. pull the radiator and have it flushed professionally or get it recored. cheaper to do this than rebuild your motor.

What fuel you running EB2Ghia - possible to try something with a little more octane?? have you tried running a little less advance? No air pockets in the cooling system?

Timing and fuel quality is what I did to fix the temp thing in the old XC ute...

Did you fit the rear 1/4 indicators???

What type of thermostat are you now running? Shroud, clean radiator, new hoses, full tank of coolant and you should be set!

XC Falcon Sedan, monza red/jet black, 351C, twin 2.25" zorst, T5 V8-spec with CRS bell-housing, AU thermofans, 3.23 LSD diff, dual fuel, rally-pack spec, black/red interior, cruise control, sports seats, 17x8 ROH Drift-R's.

Yes, those flex fans are pieces of crap. A mate had one on his HK very very very very mild damn close to stock and it couldn't cool his 327 chev. they look nice but flow SFA. A stock 7 blade ford fan will do a much more efficient job.
