Earlier this year from what I can tell. This is the info he added to the JGS registry on 21/2/05:

I am the third owner of this old beauty. I paid $500 to a gent who had owned her for 26 of her 30 years and he had paid around $4000 in '79 to his best mate for the car.
She has spent the last 6.5 yrs at the back of a block of flats in a car space rusting away, and when i got her home all it took was a splash of fuel down the carb and a new set of plugs and she coughed , spluttered , cleared her throat and purred like the proud old girl that she once was , and soon will be again.

I say good on him.
