Is it worth restoring? I honestly think "NO". As John Goss vehicles don't attract big $. If I was looking for a car to wreck out. I wouldn't buy that for $1000. It is plain and simply "rooted".

Tough call.

As they say 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder', and 'One man's trash is another's treasure'. I believe the same principles applies to cars.

would benefit someone in the trade who can absorb the costs - particularly man hours in body repairs etc...or somebody has a stack of spare cash and really likes this model...

Restore a 302 xbgs? WHY?
you'd HAVE to spend $40K+++ on the resto and then you'd end up with a car worth $15-20K.
It doesn't make ecconomic sense.
Spend the same money on a GT coupe and you'd atleast break even.
This ones done, history, kapoot, time for the crusher...

Re: Do you think this Goss is worth saving?

I think this one's too far gone to give to a panel shop. Most of the guys around me wouldn't touch that with a barge pole.

Still a shame to see an XB go. Hopefully some people will continue to restore non-GT Falcons. GTs are great, but variety is always good.
