Easiest way to paint backout on wheel arches

In a while i will be painting my xc. I'm not a profession but i have helped paint a car before. i wanna run the blackouts on the bonnet and down the sides. Any tips for masking of the blackouts around the wheel arches to get smooth looking curves that are even?

Cheers chartoo

Re: Easiest way to paint backout on wheel arches

Use 6mm Fine Line tape , its available from Auto Paint Suppliers .

It stretches around corners very well & will make a nice flowing line .

Cheers

I also was told to do the black outs before the body colour by a good painter I would have thought doing it the other way would be better
