This is your oppurtunity to put your point across as to which cars should be included in a "classic car club" in association with FF (hopefully)!
Accompanying your vote in the poll, please also make a post that:
1 - The car you drive (eg. 1977 XC Falcon 500)
2 - Your level of interest (I want the meets & club side)
3 - The vote you made (eg. no 6 -> happy with all of the above)
4 - Your opinion of what should be included (eg. falcons pre 1984)
These points are critical, as if you don't indicate you don't impact the result.
By mid January I will be collating all opinions and poll results to decipher which cars should be included to ensure the LARGEST possible club numbers & happiness amongst all future members.
1. XC Ford Falcon 500
2. Would like the social / cruise / dyno day / general meets side of things
3. I have voted to include all Ford line ups
4. I really feel the introduction of the E-Series was the real point of change for the Falcon model line up. XF's are also a point of issue as ford cut the performance efforts. XF is my only issue!
1 - ZH Fairlane Marquis
2 - Same as Pilch - cruises, dyno days, meets, drag days, tech days, whatever!
3 - All Ford models, XK-XF, plus the corresponding Fairlanes (ZA-ZL). Maybe even Cortina's and Escorts, pre 86?
4 - So XF's didn't have a V8. I can live with that. Would you exclude someone with a 250 2V XY?
Good on you mate - Very keen to see this happen!

1. XB Ford Fairmont
2. cruises, tech days, track days, meets...everything
3. I voted for everything
4. XF's are not without charm, I don't have a problem with them.
1. XB Falcon Gt Hardtop
2. More than likely it will be a vic club, so runs will be hard to make.
3. I voted to exclube Fairlanes. Nothing personal, I'd just rather see a X series "Falcon" club.
4. All X series Falcons should be included.

1. XF Falcon S
2. Social, cruises, tech, track. not interested in dyno days until I have a stable income to actually get power ;P
3. I voted for all of the above.
4. All models should be included. How could you say no to a ZD or a marquis??
Just cause ford cut performance in the XF line, they were still more powerful in stock form than some of the older V8's. And there are plenty of V8/worked 6/turbo 6 XF's out there. (I know I am little biased towards them)

1/ XW Fairmont 302w Daily Hack , XTGT , XY Falcon 500 & a few more XW's & XY's.
2/ Social events & cruises , Track days & 1/4 mile drags , Tech talk & info
3/ I voted against XD onwards & no Fairlanes , but wouldn't mind equal Fairlanes to the ZH range
4/ I am still with the opinion of Steel bumper cut off , but thats me .
Mad XF you said the following "Just cause ford cut performance in the XF line, they were still more powerful in stock form than some of the older V8's. And there are plenty of V8/worked 6/turbo 6 XF's out there. (I know I am little biased towards them)"
My reply,I'm yet to come across a More powerful XF in Standard form than any Ford Falcon V8 from the early era as I have driven over 500 XF's whilst being a mechanic for 16 years .
2. More than likely it will be a vic club, so runs will be hard to make.
Just to clear that up,
The plan for this Classic Car Club is nationwide, with all states having local meets/cruises/whatever (and no doubt schedualed national meets once a year or something). So there will be a club in your state if there is enough interest there..
1. XA GT Hardtop
2. Cruise, dyno day, strip
3. i voted to exclude XD to XF, mainly because i don't like XF's
4. Include all pre 84 models that had the option of a factory V8.
