was wondering if its possible to find out production numbers of body types, eg, utes and panelvans for the yr 1972, or even more specifically the month of sept 72. Either that or is it possible to find out a build number from the sido/vin? i ask this coz i have an 72 xa panelvan, built sept 72, which is the first month they made utes and panelvans.

figured i may as well put up where i have gotten with this incase anyone was interested.. this is what i know..
between march 72 - sep 73
129,473 XA's were built..
4,525 XA Falcon 500's
3,273 XA Fairmonts
891 GT's..
leaving 120,784 sedans, wagons, utes and panelvans..
Found out that there wereonly 2453 panelvans built in 1972, sept - dec
Ford produced at 6,814 units per month, thus meaning there were only a maximum of 613 panelvans built in sep 72, and likewise for the following months..
