GT 351 engine

Hi all,
as i`m new to this site, and not into Fords, i have a GT engine that i was thinking of selling,( engine prefix JG33 ) could anybody out there tell me what something like this would be worth?
i myself am into R/T Chargers if it was a E49 engine i would know what it was worth. ( may even swap for E49 eng)

Re: GT 351 engine

Mine is JG33ND46***K. Would love to have the original block back!

With respect to price, I recently sold a JG66MS block only for $500. If your engine is complete and it is a proper 4V (prefix will be JG33N******K), the motor would be worth about $2000 - $3000 approx. Take about $1000 - $1500 off if it is a 2V (small port) motor. That is, if the prefix is JG33P or R or S (1974, 1975 and 1976 respectively).

I dont know I bought an XBGT motor which happend to be the one I pulled out of a GT i sold in the mid 90's for a cool 300 bucks off of ebay no less. Exactly the way it was when I pulled it out of the car ! sad thing is when I sold the car with the worked motor in it I wanted him to take the complete original motor and said keep it with the car !! yet about 8 years later I find it on ebay !! the guy couldnt be bothered taking it with him to WA when he moved there..so his relitaves stuck it on ebay

I would say its worth no more than a standard 351 except to the owner of the car it belongs to of course.unless it has the 4V's on it

just my opinion
