Hub Size?

Can anyone tell me if the hub size on a XB is the same as EF or AU/BA?

Re: Hub Size?

Halfway through XB the hub size got bigger. Not sure exactly when but I think it was some time in 1975.Later model wheels will fit the earlier models but pre-75 wheels wont fit on the later cars.

Re: Hub Size?

AU / BA have the same hub size as late XB but the offset is different. EF is OK though

Re: Hub Size?

Thanks

I know the offset changes at AU+ but I figured that the hub size was the same on all falcons.

The hub size that I think it is is 70.5mm but I have some paperwork that says that anything prior to EL is 70.8mm but why would they change .3mm ??

I just figured it would all be the same!

Re: Hub Size?

Don't know about the .3mm but AU wheels definately fit on an earlier model, you just need to spend $500 on adaptors for the offset!!

Re: Hub Size?

The only difference at the front end between the early and late XB's is the disc and a little shield that bolts to the dust plate.
