XC Coupe 78

i'm having a bastard of a time finding spoilers for my XC coupe. is there anyone with a front or rear spoiler who is willing to sell it.

I live in Adelaide south australia but i'm willing to pay for freight.

I tried to find on www.fomoco.com.au but with no luck. I know that they have them (I recently bought a Cobra bonnet scoop, Bathurst front spoiler as well as a rear spoiler) just can't seem to find them.

They used to have an online price list, maybe I am just looking in the wrong place but trust me, they do have them. From memory I think that the front spoiler was about $250 and the rear a little less. Hope this helps.

You could give GT Performance Melbourne?? or rare spares a call as they generally stock these as far as I know.

By the way, what is the difference between a cobra bathurst spolier and a standard cobra spolier??

I know there were exceptions but the 270 "standard" cobras should have been built with a plastic molded front spoiler. The 30 Bathurst models had fibreglass versions made up by Bob Mcwilliams of Phase Autos. They looked the same but I think the fibreglass ones could be mounted lower. Any Cobra gurus out there confirm it.

Phase Autos became Homologated Options (Cambellfield in Melbourne) and As far as I know still have the original molds for the front and rear spoilers as well as the bonnet scoop. Another place you might have tried was Advanced Spoilers in Salisbury - he does the Mad Max kits for coupes - I would think he would do a simple Cobra front spoiler.

As stated above (differing materials) as well as the Bathurst ones have wider holes in the front. That is, the option 96 spoilers have relatively square holes whereas the option 97 ones have the holes somewhat splayed out on the entry. The height is exactly the same
