I took my GT out today to get i ready for the Fod day later this month in Geelong, hadnt driven it for about ten years or so (see cars in long term lay up thread) and just as i was about to stop a a set of lights this Dick head in a ricer runs right up the arss of the car. What do you think i did ? well after i relised what he had done i belted the living sh1t out of him. Now that i could think the first thing he said was it is only a Falcon? The realy hard part is that the car had up till that point never be in an bingel. So the day ends with no car sore fist and it looks like one very big repair bill. The car is Wild Violet With white trim so it will be back on the road but i dont now when. I dont think i can post any photos just yet.

Mate that is a tough bit of luck, you must be heartbroken. However a car is made from metal and can be repaired as good as new, the only thing that cannot be repaired is the "never been bent" label. I hope the damage was not too bad.

You poor bastard. I've got a coupe that's never been in a bingle and the longer that's the case the more scared you are to drive it. Best of luck with the repairs but it will be something in the back of your mind for ever in a day.

And as far as belting the ricer goes, it should be a sport!!

After owning a 69 XW and being in a GT club I hope you dont get some 'tool' that thinks he's an expert on everything saying "the cars not an original GT because its been repaired". Personally I'd just fix it and be happy to own something to be very proud of. By the way, I got cleaned up on a bike by a P plater in a P76.

Gotta hate ricers! I was leaving a gig in my coupe a while back, pulling out of the carpark surrounded by ricers when this d#ckhead ran up beside the car and slapped the rear quarter yelling something like "f#ckin' give it some maaaate". I jumped on the breaks, got out, and you can picture the rest!

Sorry to hear about the GT and hope its an easy fix.
