Can somebody please tell me wheather the were abouts of all the remaining phase 4 HOs was established? And does anyone know the Chasis numbers of these Cars?

Only one Phase 4 was ever made, there were 3 XAGT sedans used as Phase 4 prototypes though.
2 of the 3 prototypes still exist, the third car was destroyed, One is with the Bowdens, the other with a collector, the only Phase 4 ever made is a calyso green sedan that's owned by a sydney dentist and is rarely seen.

Yeah it was the Prototypes I was intersted in.

The collector with the Second one, Does anybody know who he his or Which state he lives in? Is the car on display anywhere? I know Bowdens one has all the racing livery on it, but Im more interested in the other one and where it is.

I was in Griffith a couple of years in an Auto electrician shop who had a photo ao fa XA GT which he said was a Phase 4 which he said had been rolled after colliding witha Commodore towing a caravan the owner stripped the running gear and dumped the shell at the Griffith tip he said the owner offered to sell him the engine for his XD ESP but he declined.
Normally i would think this story to be an old wives tale but the guy seemed very genuine.

The other red prototype is owned by Paul Carthew. You could contact him via Unique Cars. He often displays it about and was at the 2003 gt nationals. He will probly be at this years nats too over easter at ballarat. The destroyed car is back in Bruce Hodgsons posession I am told. The Green cars' owner is a very private man and keeps his car this way also. It has recently undergone a full resto to original specs and looks a treat.

and # 3 is a twisted shell Im guessing, but owned now by Bruce Hodgsons.
What would the Body # be of an XA GT and how do you tell if it has the RPO 83 option?

Dave Bowdens car is in Qld, near Ipswitch.
If you look at the AMC Mag, I think Edition 4 or 5, it has the most comprehensive article ever put to print about the Phase 4 Prototypes.
The only way to tell if an XA GT is an RPO 83 is to get an old vehicle report from Ford. You must also proove ownership of the car. They were only made over approx 2 months, and not every xa gt that went down the line in between those times had option 83.

Before I bought my coupe, I looked at Rohan's car, it was identicle to yours mick, and was built in the same dates as the RPO's. It had a Ford part number Holley and the extractors on it too. I checked it with Mark, and he said it was definantly not one.
