i have found an AU that im thinking about buying. details are: 1999 AU Forte, dual fuel, auto, 1 owner, full service history, 165,000km, 12 months rego. just had new brakes and alternator done as well. tyres will need replacing soon but should pass rego and besides that the car seems to be in very good condition and i couldnt find any leaks/hear any strange noises under the bonnet. drove fine as well. is there anything in particular i need to check/get a mechanic to check?

what price should i pay for the car?

also a could of questions on the car...i have looked up redbook and it says it should have power windows...it doesnt. is this normal?

with petrol/gas, he has used petrol every now and then to keep it in working condtion, and when i drove it on both it seemed fine, but when i flick it from one to the other it either tries to stall or does stall, is this normal?

My brother paid $13,000 for his but that was quite a while ago. I wouldnt pay anymore than $9k for it. It's an AU and a FORTE after all. Good value cars though.
