Just a quick question regarding xa/b/c coupe/sedan rear side indicators - are they interchangable, ie will a xb/c rear side indicator sedan/coupe fit into xa coupe rear quarter panel hole or vise versa??

Yes they will, but Sedan's dont have seperate rear indicator markers, as they had the wraparound lights at the rear of course.

Coupe's are interchangeable throughout the XA-XB-XC range, even though they sometimes look quite different from the inside. Some have moulded grey humps for the bulbs to sit in while (later I think) where the red tinted plastic variety that just formed a box shape inside the boot with retaining clip.

My xb has one of each!
