hey all, i have an xy fairmont that im jazzing up, i was wondering what size rims and tyres would best go with it.... i currently have some globe replicas 14x7 and they seem very small... are they right or what...

as a general idea i was looking to go for something like the teal fairmont on the grand tourer site, does n e 1 know what those would be as well???

The wheel trims you asked about are XR GT full wheel covers and were also fitted as part of the XW/XY GS option pack, as per the Grand Tourer site photo. Be aware front and rear trims are different; the fronts protrude over the wheel bearing cap, the rears being less pronounced in the centre. A benefit is you can run wider wheels with the same look; the are after all just a hubcap.

Like fairlanebyford said they are the GS style hubcap's and they are 14'' as well,what do you intend to do with your fairmont, if you go the original look then there's noithing better than what you mentioned or 15'' globe's or even better 5 slotter's for an XY.

The picture's dont really do justice, I've seen the Fairmont, the last time I was in Melbourne at Grand Tourer and let me say it is the best original restored Fairmont I have ever seen,I'd cut off my left hand for it,it's just built perfectly, the way they should be,good job GT.
