No those wheels are not the real deal. I posted a pic of one a while back but can't find it. THOSE wheels are worth a few hundred, max.
Why would you pay $4000 for those crockers when you can buy a brand new set of four Simmons B45 16 x8 with polished centres and Goodyear Eagle F1 245/45/16 tyres for $3000. (BTW is that a good price ?)

I don't mean to be picky but if you're in the market for genuine flat lipped globes then chances are there's no way in hell you'd destroy the look af a classic GT Falcon with Simmons wheels....
Genuine Globes go for $1000+ per wheel for 72 date stamped small centre wheels.

have to disagree.. .not that i normally would with you 4Vman... but say a car like mine came out with the wheels it's running now... 14 X 7's... and is simply just not coping, ie, wheel spin all the f'n time... why not run a set of funky rims just to get about in it with real traction?
ok.. for showing a car or whatever, runs, original look.. put the skinny minnies back on, but it's hard enough to find the 72's let alone be able to pay for them.

just my thoughts

Thats fair enough! i just prefer the classic original look on classic original cars!
Ive got over 450HP in one of the GT's and run 15 x 7 globes and they work fine!

Re: Are these genuine Ford Globes

mate.. i'd love original 15 X 7 globes... have a set of non original, but only currently run the original 14 inch 12 slots, so in total agreeance.

Thats what i mean... if you were running 14 X 7's... you'd have the same issues I have!!

Cheers!
