Toughning up the xc

I was thinking of the idea for toughning up my xc ute. Its already low with fatties but I had an idea of putting an xy chin spoiler on the front. Dont particularly like the cobra ones. The widths are nearly the same.

xy -1869mm
xc -1900mm

Dont know what it would look like but...photoshop anyone???

Ideas comments appreciated

Re: Toughning up the xc

Why not look into the chin spoiler from an XA-XB GT which would be a comprimise, if the front spoiler from the Cobra not to your liking. Have you considered the spoiler used for the Goss Special as another alternative? I'd think about all the alternatives before commiting to the xy option.

Re: Toughning up the xc

I reckon any of them is just something to break on the many speed humps etc on the roads today. I dont think they really suit XCs all that well at all.

Re: Toughning up the xc

with the deep chrome bumper on the XC it could make it hard to fit an XA /XB spoiler.

when i had my old XC i had cobra type spoilers (several) and kept smashing them on speed bumps, rough roads , rabbits etc.

would look better if it was just lowered till the bumper was sitting in the grass.
