Hi guys and girls,
I owned a TB Ph 3 in 1973 with 4.11 gears and a hot cam. I sold it because I was afraid my staff would neck themselves in it. I have heard in the last 2 years that only 4 HO's in TB were built? I have asked Gossy and his lads and they say at least 6. Anyone out there who knows of any XY's built TB? Irregardless of HO? Cheers, Ned.

know of an immaculate true blue HO3 in Melb with factory sunroof - have also heard there was only 4 HO's built true blue

Only 4 official Phase 4's were built. 3 were red and made for racing, 1 was green with silver stripes and is the only one with road compliance plates. Last seen in Sydney many many years ago.

Of the 3 red ones I know one was used for rallying and at least one of them was written off!

There were 36 x GT's made in in TB, and 5 x GTHO's

There is also strong exidence to suggest that a Phase 4 coupe was made, plated H.

That would make two "H" plated cars.

Yes, there is rumour of the coupe and some say it was going to be the phase 5 (which ended up being redesignated to the stillborn XD GTHO) however I only stated the known and proven Phase 4's that are in existance.

Fascinating stuff racer, Thank you very much. If you don't mind me asking, how did you get those figures and what evidence do you have that suggests the coupe ran a H code engine.

I got the figures from the GT Club.

The H coupe very likely exists, but is yet to be tracked down. It was factory made for an influential Ford Dealer to race.

I have seen the Green Phase 4 in the flesh, and it was more Fairmont than GTHO. The coupe was built purely for the track.

wasnt there four or five XA Phase 4s made? three Four doors and a coupe is what i heard but the coupe was written off after it hit a car towing a caravan or sumthing...

It was the red 4 door rally car that was written off.

I believe so. The GT dvd says that one car was written off after a commodore towing a caravan hit it. One lives in the country somewhere unkown and one is owned by a gold coast electriction (which you see on the dvd)
