That's easy, for an XY 15' Bathurst globe's, or the original 14' 5 slotter's,LOL, that's the only rim's I'd personally put on an XY, but don't worry about me, now do you have any pic's of your Fairmont?.

I've had 15x8's on the back of mine with a 265/50 tyre. You can go bigger as my mate has 16x8 inch simmons all round, you just have to choose the right offset and tyre.
I agree on the Bathurst Globes! :D
I've got 15x7"s on my "true blue" beasty, but I've got a set of 14x6's i want rid of... and a set of 14x7" hustlers like yours.... damn things take up to much shed space!
That's a nice looking XY you've got there. Have you seen the pics of galaxyxr8's wagon?
Wheel/tyre sizes, you could go to 15x7 alloys with 225/60 tyres - Globe Bathursts the perennial favourite here or others I think suit the XY are minilite style (Superlite), B45 Simmons look ok or even a 15 version of your current mags. If you want, go wider on the back, but it only complicates things. Check with your insurance company before buying wheels wider than 7.
PS, were you talking bigger as in 15, 16 or 17 (or 18 )?

we had my 275's on globes on the back of the xy... they looked mad.... but now the poor car has got 1 standard wheel, and the other side at the back is sittin on bircks, and so is the front :(
275's are nice and wide, look mad
