would anyone have any idea what this would be worth?. apart from "it is worth what someone is prepared to pay"

1977 XC falcon Allan Moffat Special
302 (siezed) 4 speed, LSD, 4 wheel disc, leather interior( all stitching buggered)
all original condition, minimal rust, standard/original wheels(12slots)

is it matching numbers motor?
if so, i think 1k max. as all it is, is a 302 4 speed gs xc. cost 2-3k just to redo the interiour let alone anything else.

Funny things, XCs. I stay away from them as I find them too unpredictable in what "they are worth".... To me personally, I would say 1000 as well, but there are sure to be other people who think it is worth more.

thanks for the replies, i was thinking myself between 1 and 2.. the bloke who owns it told me to make an offer.. i have not seen the car in person just yet, just been given the details.. i am really after an XB john goss coupe, but haven't had much luck finding one, i want a V8 ford and something a little different to standard, bit i can't afford/justify the expense of a GT..

I have seen a couple of nice gossys getting around, a good one will set you back upto 20k, how much you wanna spend on a coupe?

The mear fact that it is a 4speed which they didnt do to many might make it worth say a grand.

I don't want to spend 20g on a coupe that someone else has done up, i want to do the work myself.. i have seen a couple of JGS's around 5 -7k, but they have been bought before i had a chance to get to them..

Vinyl is NOT leather! Even though many people who have never ridden in anything older then an EA seem to call it LEATHER.

mate, like i said, I haven't seen the car yet, just going on what the bloke who owns it has said.. I assume he has seen vinyl before as he also owns an XT GT and an XC coupe.. was leather an option or not even available?? i wouldn't know..

No mate its not. you either got vinyl or houndstooth. Car cant be worth over a grand with a seized motor.
