Just had my LSD diff rebuilt and 3.5's put in.
Question - What is the best or recommended diff oil to use for LSD's.???

The best mate that depends how full your wallet is!!!
REDLINE is a far superior oil..
I run it in my g/box & diff
Dont skimp get the best.

where is this REDLINE stuff available from? not kmart i'll bet, i'm just getting my diff done now, borg warner LSD

Naughts, as your diff has been rebuilt, i'd use normal lsd oil. shell, caltex etc will be fine. your going to have to change it once the clutchs wear in anyway. Did you get an addictive as well??

No additive supplied. The bloke who rebuilt it said if if chatters in a tight circle he will supply an additive to put in. He said "see how it goes"

Use penrite 85/140 lsd oil..I have found to stay away from castrol lsx90 .

Installed today, put in penrite lsd oil.
Clutches seem to chatter when oil warms up. - may need an additive.
Is this a Ford dealer supplied item or would Repco or Bevics supply something???????

Ford have the additive in a 50ml bottle, strangely enuff holden use exactly the same Friction Modifier.

just a question naughts... from 2.75 to 3.5 much difference? mate i'm a novice, so for those who are about to crucify me for the question.. get over it.. i'm sure there is a difference.
is it basically quicker off the mark now?
are 2.75s highway gears
and 3.5s stoplight gears?? lol
