Question Wheel size

I have a 64 Ranchero, does anyone know if I can run a 16X8 or 17X8 Mustang GT rim on my car without the use of spacers? Mine is five lug and I really like a couple of the newer V6 GT factory rims and there seem to be plenty for sale these day's.

Thanks for any help!!!

biggrin Re: Wheel size

Well, I purchased a set of Mustang V-6 spoked wheels (16X7) and with a one and a quarter inch spacer, they are on and look bad ass to me!! I'll post picture's tomorrow if I can figure out how to do that.

Project Ranchero pictures by Steve_Watkins60 - Photobucket

Here are some photo's of my Ranchero project. I love the look with the Mustang rims, used 1 1/2" spacers to mount and have no clearance issues.
