Wheels Magazine, 1974 XB GT and Landau tests

A couple more 1974 Wheels Magazine articles, one on the XB GT and one on the Landau. Complete articles (including a couple of ads in the XB one.) The quality isn't that great but they are readable.

The pic of the Landau cornering is very interesting! There is a spec sheet at the end of each article for each car. The biggest thing in 1974 was the new headlight flasher on the indicator stalk!
Some quotes from the XB GT article:

"Four wheel disk brakes and headlight flasher are solid advances....."

"Four wheel disk brakes best brakes in Australia - close to best in the world."

"no objective reason why anyone would buy the Hardtop over the cheaper sedan."

Super light power steering disappointing, manual steering needs muscle.

"Manual GT reaches 60 mph in 8.1s (8.7 auto)"

11 mpg to16 mpg

16.0 s average for quarter mile.
