Is the arm rest in this picture out of a standard XB or is out of something else like a fairmont. Also wouldnt be too hard to fit it to my xc would it?

Cheers chartoo

Looks like a GT/fairmont arm rest from an XA-XB, standard Falcons just had the C shaped grab handle style. Not sure if it'll fit an XC, though imagine the hole should be the same.

Definately XA - B style. XC's armrests are totally different. XC's have the door handle built into the armrest; at least that's what my GXL has.

Yeah That Right Lilmattie.
The Door Handle Is In The Horizontal Bit, Like The Arm Rest Section Just Before The Verticle Section Where You Can Put Hand To Close The Door.
The Arm Rest Would Probably Fit In But You Would Also Have To Take The Inside Door Handle As Well As All The Linkages. Maybe Just Change The Whole Door Trim.

Re: wheres this arm rest out of.... XB?

Are they genuine white ones, or have they been painted?
If they are gen white ones, do you wanna sell em?
they will fit into an xc, however the door opener will be virtually but up to these, you need the xc ones, or xd/xe type as they have the moulded rescess to accomodate the handel. Or alternatively, you can retro fit the xa/b opening mechanisms into an xc door, or vice versa xc bits into xa/b doors if you wanna stuff around with changing the connecting rods and handels etc.
