Why are P5's the black sheep of the FORD family

I love them but you see hardly any of them around and dont seem to find much interest in them. When i first saw one i thought the front end looks awsome and the fact that they come with all the goodies is just a bonus.
So why dont people like them?

Well chopy ,im like you i also love the p5 and landaus. I grew up with two p5s as family cars, its been 32 years and i still have our original family p5 .Unfortunatly the only time i do see them pop up is when some one is wrecking one. I did read in amc (aussie musscle cars ) that for ford to race xa(rpo as well i think) coupes with disc brake rears and a few other bits , they had to release the landau and the p5 .Wich also had the same ass end ,to race the xa as a production car with a disc 9 inch. I also love the shape and front and back, im not to keen on the p6 (sorry will) but they are thining out aswell. I did see a p5 on ebay with no running gear go for $100 or $200 bucks a shame really ,the cars being so heavy was a down fall i think. Well i apoligise for any spelling mistakes and any time you want to talkp5 pm me and ill give you my number. Go p5.(also have extras.

I love em. To me the P5 was the DOGS BOLLOCKS in luxury. I will never sell my Landau.
