Fitting anything late model into something like an XC takes a lot of expertise, because you have to work out how to adapt computers (for the auto), fuel injection, inbuilt security systems and all of the other electrical junk.

I have heard that the BA's are even more difficult again - if you even take out the factory radio the car will not start, and stupid stuff like that. I'd expect it would be very hard to put into an XC unless you want to run the full BA dash etc.

Why bother. Cleveland is smaller, lighter, greater capacity & has more potential.

351 Cleveland with CHI heads, CHI manifold & baby 218 degree @ 50 thou lift camshaft = 268 rwkw.

A Boss would be way too big for the boot or the back seat of an XB/XC. You'd be much better hiring a trailer to shift one.

WHy on earth would you fit a 330 size engine when you can get a Lima in there with over 540 cubes. Just inject it and fry tyres at 1500rpm in all four gears. Yeehaw!
