X Series falcon Brake upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade the front brakes on my XB, I know that hopper stoppers have kits starting from $1200.

Does anyone else do these kits to suit ? or can you fit bigger brakes from another model falcon that will simply bolt on without to much hassle.

thanks

Those kits suck and you cant fit 14" wheels over them. The 300mm kit I have has tiny pads, only very slightly larger then stock pads. Braking improvement is marginal at best. There is almost a whole inch of disk that the pads done even touch so it goes rusty. There are little tabs that they dont tell you about but they know they cut into and score the disks instantly. Dont bother with them.

Add some decent sloted disks , change the calipers to more pistons , ask your local wrecker and good pads front and back ( you do have a disk diff ?)
then decide if the booster needs work , this is a lot better and cheqper than some kit as heaps cheaper .

I have just done a set to suit mr xr fairmont based on a 330 x 32mm disc and 6 piston SL6 Wilwood radial mount caliper.Do a search on brakes and should still have some pics there.
