I hereby offer my XAGT for sale.

This is a very straight yellow glow 4 door, 8/73. (NOT AN RPO)
Matching numbers 4V, 4 speed.

Paint is good and the interior quite good as well, new rooflining, insulation, carpets. No cracks or rips in seats at all.

The car has new tyres, new brakes, new extractors and exhaust and NOS books.
It is on original 12 slots and GT centres and Terry put on redwalls at the Nats.
I know where the original books, sales docket for the car and other assorted parts and original photos from new are but haven't been able to get to pick them up, second owner has a box for me which I'm sure he'd let the new owner have.
Original registered NSW GNK 495
Came with 2 spoilers, rear not fitted. But none on car now.
All owners are known.

Now, the honest parts.

Few chips in paint here and there, I would get it painted later on. Looks great and would look better if someone would GIVE IT A WAX JOB!
ONE small rust spot, NOT MAJOR, behind left rear wheel, not noticable, but would get it done before it got bigger.
Interior is a bit faded in parts of the silver.
Speakers not connected.
Horn isn't connected. Wheel is cracked (one place) and worn down, centre is near perfect.
Has a big tank, non original, came with small tank.
AC is there, but not connected, dealer fitted (apparently).
Has black bonnet but should be Car colour.
Has had aftermarket bits added under bonnet in wrong places (Water bottle and a few other things.)

REASON FOR SALE
I have offered the car to a previous owner who is keen but has not come back to me as yet. First dibs are to him by next Tuesday.
I DON'T LIVE IN AUSTRALIA AT PRESENT and have no near future plans to do so.
I am applying for Permanent Residency and need to buy an appartment here.
I am however NOT desperate to sell the car as it's fine where it is and it just means delaying a month or two my plans here in Hong Kong.

I could say I am looking for offers, but I am NOT. IF you are willing to pay $30k it's yours and I'll throw in a set of 15" ESP globe rims.

I was back at Easter at the Nats and ran it for the first time on a long trip, only issue was it didn't like the cold weather in the morning, alot like me. Around a 1200km trip over the space of 4 days and I had a ball.

The car is located in Northern Victoria with my father, who has little patience, he knows jack about cars so you won't get answers from him.

Sounds like a gorgeous machine. Unfortunately by the time I'd have raised that kind of money (on my salery it would be um.... 2010 at least) it would probably be worth 3 times as much as it is now.

Hope it goes to a good home. You will make sure of that won't you?! Don't sell it to some toss who will 'customize' it. Sell to a bloke who appreciates it's class.
