For that money it'd need to be an unmolested original in excellent condition or a top quality resto. $24K is in the high end of the range. It's up to you.

Depending on options/colour I'd say it's a fair price. If it's a rare colour with cool options (sunroof, a/c, power windows) $24k could be a bargain. There's been a couple go for over $30k recently.
I've seen in the paper a XA GT manual sedan with matching numbers and in immaculate condition for $24,000.
Anyone think that's a bit rich or worth the money?
Do you realise what else you could get for that money...XA GT like all GT's are basically just dirty old Falcon Sedans Mocked Up with a few Stickers,Badges, and Mustang parts from the Ford Factory...Go out and buy a Mustang [The real thing] which look much better[Mustang's look good even in bare metal , XA Sedans don't] .You might even have some change....There , that ought to make GT owners or lovers hate me !!!
Lukeh; What sort of medicine are you on?
Like in the other tread of XT-XB GT Con, where do you get it from?
Nobody is pressing anybody to fork out the $$ if they do not want it, so what is your case?
If you are just stirring/ fishing for reactions ,do us all a favour, and kindly cease the practice, please.

Because these prices annoy me, and I think the people paying these prices are on medicine or need to be more aware.
yeah i think the same. theres nothing really special about any old GT.....except ruggered ride quality and a petrol chewing V8 that in todays standards is just plain shit. sure grill me if want but for 24k i can get any old american car with a bigger motor that would clean the floor over any old aussie GT. but as someone said its personal taste and i having my own personal taste would rather import something that is smoother and more powerfull that isnt that common in this country.
but to answer your question 24k is a bit steep unless it was bought then put in the shed and only driven 100km or so.....id expect museum quality for that price.

you guys are not understanding what this is all about, why is a shelby GT350 worth more than its lesser sibling? why do people pay 100k US for em? because they are collectable cars which are rare, no different to the GT's here, if you are not happy with what they are selling em for, why do you wanna buy one?
buy something less expensive without the GT badge, and without the rarity...
there are plenty of people that will pay that money for em...
