Re: XA GT Wanted

Try the AMCS web site. There are 2 or 3. I hope you have some deep pockets, you will need em. You are after the most popular model now.

Donny, I think you're absolutely right... with the xw and xy's out of reach of most people now without the DEEEEEP pockets, some are understanding now that the driveline in the xa's is as good, and it's just a matter of opinion on the shape of the car.
Yours is coming along really well by the looks of the pics you sent me too.

These are keepers, and sleepers in my opinion.

Mick.

Re: XA GT Wanted

Well Mick, you know my opinion on the shape...The XA wins over the XW/XY EVERY day of the year!!!! As I said on another forum the other day, why spend 200k on a phase 3, when I could get 3 or 4 RPO's for that money, and drive which ever colour that grabs my fancy.....

Mine is slowly getting there, It is a mammoth resto job, and when I think about all the stuff I have to do after the body and paint is complete, I nearly fall over. Got auto electrical, aircon, Tyres, exhaust, suspension, heaps of extra interiour stuff. Man the list just goes on and on......

Re: XA GT Wanted

Mate, I think you need to get with the times. 20k for a known history(2 owner), good nick GT was January 04 prices. 33k is up there for a sedan, but it has some good attributes. If it was everything as stated in the ad, I would look to offer 25-30k. But I prefer coupes myself.

If a car is well looked after does it matter if it has had two or twenty owners? This car has crook looking wheels, rear spoiler, black mirrors & dealer fitted options which in my opinion do not make for good attributes. This is why I think it is only worth 20k.
